Deformities of hand:-

In congenital cases, intervention should be done before child starts using that part of hand like thumb should be corrected before the age of nine months, its this time a baby starts using thumb separately from his or her other fingers.
Similarly , other fingers should be provided individuality and full functionality after age of one year and before age of two years.
In case of trauma, early intervention is of utmost importance and it includes surgical interventional plus splints and physiotherapy.
