Origin & location of Hymen : Vagina is formed in embryonic life by two different
sources, mullarian duct and sinovaginal bulb, both these are solid structures fusing at the same location where hymen is located.
After fusion canalization takes place creating vaginal canal. Hymen is the junction point of these two structures. Hymen is a membrane which is partly absorbed in
center to form a passage for exit of menstrual blood. This central hole in hymen is almost always eccentric. Shape and aperture or hole in hymen vary widely, from
imperforate hymen, septate hymen to cribriform hymen.
These are all normal variants of hymen and you don't
need to worry.
Broken Hymen : Hymen is considered a sign of virginity in females, can be lost because of several reasons including intercourse being the most common.
Traumatic rupture of hymen is usually associated with severe trauma and tear in vaginal area extending up to hymen. Deep position and elastic
property of hymen protects it from trauma and rupture in day to day life. Hymenoplasty or Hymen Repair or Re-virgination procedure, Hymen is restored again to give a virgin look
and function along with other changes, whenever needed.
Natural Intact Virgin Hymen & Broken Hymen Picture, Individual pieces (remnants) of hymen are called carunculae myrtiformis. Two types of Hymen or virginity repair surgery are available- Hymenorrhaphy & Hymenoplasty or Hymenplasty

Simple hymen repair is also done in two ways. First hymen repair surgery is based on suture approximation of hymen tags
or remnants (Hymenorrhaphy) which cuts through with force of penetration causing some bleeding.
Stitches dissolve after 2-3 weeks and hymen remnants again become separate like before surgery. we don't do
such hymen repair.In second type of hymen repair (our own technique of hymen repair) surgery we are doing
formal hymen repair, if it gets sufficient time it heals to gives you natural hymen, if not it serves its purpose
and over. Next most important point in hymen repair surgery is use of invisible sutures otherwise detection
of sutures by your partners is a new trouble. We use micro-surgical technique for Hymen repair or

2.Hymenoplasty for Natural Looking Hymen :
Hymenoplasty or reconstruction hymenoplasty or Hymenplasty, should be done at least
3-4 weeks before marriage, or as early as possible. After proper healing hymen looks, feels and
behaves like natural hymen (means breaks & bleeds with penetration
with no evidence of hymenoplasty surgery).
Its a common misconception that hymen never heals so you are bound to rely upon sutures (stitches
- as in hymenorrhaphy) , its not true, it heals well with proper
Hymenoplasty surgery and if given proper time and care. Surgical time
( 30-40 minutes ), recovery time (few hours- may be little pain or discomfort ) and rest (Not absolute bed rest) - (1-2 hours), all are same. With our advanced Hymenoplasty technique only you need to get it done at least
3-4 weeks, best is 6 weeks, before marriage and don't pull pussy lips apart for at least three weeks.

In Complete Re-virgination (Re-Virginity) other parts of vaginal area is also taken in to account, like vaginal lips which become flat and fullness is lost with repeated intercourse, inner or smaller vaginal lips or labia minora which become larger
and protruding. Fat grafting of vaginal lips and tightening of vaginal canal along with Hymen repair or Hymenoplasty returns youthful appearance and function. Usually in young girls all these are not required and
simple Hymenoplasty is sufficient.
Hymen Reconstruction : In cases where hymen tags are not available for repair a new hymen can be created from vaginal mucosal epithelium,
it looks and works like natural hymen.

Imperforate & Septate Hymen : In some cases hymen is not having any hole for exit of menstrual blood, its called imperforate hymen. Collection of blood in uterus
and vaginal canal causes hematometra (Collection of blood in uterus) and hematocolpos ( collection of
menstrual blood in vaginal canal) . A simple day care surgery removes obstruction and
creates passage for blood and natural secretions. Septate Hymen is a common and
normal occurrence. While doing surgery for imperforate hymen called (hymenotomy ) only creation of passage is
not important but the resultant hymen should look like a natural virgin hymen and no hymenoplasty should be
required after that. Septate Hymen Hymen is otherwise normal only difference is presence of a tissue band which divides
opening in to two. in Cribriform opening is multiple and sieve like.
